The Opportunity
Ironclad Defense Works is seeking a Senior Multi-Domain & Joint Effects Integration SME to support NATO Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia. This role will support the development and integration of NATO Multi-Domain and Joint Effects capabilities, with particular emphasis on the synchronization of kinetic and non-kinetic effects.
The successful candidate will bring Joint or Strategic-level effects-planning experience, strong knowledge of non-kinetic/non-lethal effects integration, and demonstrated capability-development and multinational staff experience.

This position requires an active National SECRET (or higher) security clearance from the U.S. or a NATO member nation. Applicants who do not possess the clearance specified above cannot be considered at this time.
Compensation
Compensation for this position ranges from $130,000 - $150,000 annually. Final salary will be based on factors such as experience, education, skills, qualifications, location, contract requirements, and overall affordability.

This role will support the development and integration of NATO Multi-Domain and Joint Effects capabilities, with particular emphasis on the synchronization of kinetic and non-kinetic effects.

Key Responsibilities
- Support NATO Multi-Domain and Joint Effects capability development.
- Provide analytical and methodological expertise on Joint Effects integration.
- Support Non-Kinetic and Kinetic Fires Integration initiatives and related Beacon projects.
- Integrate and synchronize non-kinetic/non-lethal effects across Joint and Multi-Domain operations.
- Develop and trace requirements across DOTMLPFI.
- Support policy, doctrine, CONOPS, courses of action, and alternatives.
- Coordinate with NATO Agencies, Centers of Excellence, national militaries, academia, and civilian organizations.
- Support capability-development program management and validation.
- Identify lessons and best practices.
- Provide analysis and staff support to senior Joint Effects leadership.
- Master’s degree or equivalent military-college qualification in engineering, information systems, aeronautics, Operations Research, project management, business administration, or related field; or bachelor’s degree plus five years of relevant experience.
- At least three years of recent senior-leader briefing experience.
- At least five years of operational experience within the past 12 years integrating and synchronizing effects, particularly non-kinetic/non-lethal effects, at Joint or Strategic level.
- Experience in military effects planning, C2, or integration such as J3 or J5 experience at NATO or national headquarters.
- At least two years of program/project-management experience in military capability development.
- At least two years of multinational or NATO experience.
- NATO Joint Effects experience.
- J3/J5 Joint Headquarters background.
- Non-kinetic effects, fires integration, cyber, space, information operations, or electromagnetic-effects experience.
- Multi-Domain Operations experience.
- NATO capability-development experience.
