About the Role
Ironclad Defense Works is seeking four Behavioral Scientists to support a high-profile NATO initiative based in Norfolk, VA. This is a rare opportunity to apply your expertise in behavioral science, cognitive effects, and influence operations within an international defense and security framework.
As part of the Allied Command Transformation (ACT) team, you will help shape the future of strategic influence and cognitive warfare capabilities across NATO forces.
Required Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor’s degree (Master's degree preferred) in Behavioral Science or a related field.
- Five years’ in the last 10 in the field of applied behavioral science or cognitive effects.
- Minimum of 3 years proficiency in data analytics (behavioral trends, sentiment analysis, psychometrics).
- Minimum 3 years experience in briefing senior leaders/decision makers.
- Experience in behavior modeling and influence strategy development.
- Knowledge of psychological theories of behavior change, persuasion, and manipulation.
- Familiarity with digital and traditional media platforms for strategic influence.
- Proven ability to develop and manage information campaigns.
- Narrative building and communication strategy aligned to strategic goals.
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration with military and civilian teams.
- Mixed-media content creation and cultural sensitivity in messaging.
